The apartment was in walking distance to a lot of food, stores, the central plaza and the Picasso museum.

Didn't have the breakfast, as there are tons of options just outside and around the corner. Great place to stay in Malaga.

It is a few minutes walk from the old town and centre (Cathedral, Picasso Museum, Port, beach etc|) and yet it is seriously quiet. No traffic noise and just the odd sound of voices passing. It is a street away from the Teatro de Cervantes and surrounded by lovely restaurants. Jose facilitated our arrival on the evening of 31st Dec, he promptly delivered extra linen when we requested it and was a perfectly wonderful host.

Malaga has plenty to show of its past history, with a large Roman amphitheater at the foot of the old Islamic Alcazaba-Gibralfaro forts. The Cathedral is also testimony to the classic and gothic styles of the 16 and 17th Centuries. In a very different context, one can also visit Picasso's birthplace and see some of his paintings in an old palace, now the Picasso Museum of Malaga.
