I visited Santa Maria and stayed at 7 different, equivalent hotels during the week. Design Suites is the best hotel. The staff is helpful and very nice. I had tv problems and the manager organized help immediately and solved the problem. The cleaning is very good. Overall, the maintenance of the hotel is good. During the week there were several power outages on the island. In this hotel, the business has worked without problems. This indicates a good organization and committed staff. I will gladly come back to the "best hotel" on the island.

Located in Santa Maria, Hotel Morabeza offers accommodation with 3 outdoor swimming pools. The property has a fitness centre, game room, 3 bars, free WiFi and a 24-hour front desk. Perfect location right next to a beautiful beach and lot of restaurants nearby. Everything within walking distance. Very friendly staff at the hotel, clean rooms and very cozy and beautiful hotel. Breakfast is good as well. Nice swimming pools, plenty of activities in the hotel. Nothing could be better, an excellent hotel and highly recommended 👌

A great hotel. The rooms were clean and bright. The bed was very comfortable. USB plus made it easy to charge everything. The breakfast and dinners were delicious and a reasonable price to add onto your stay. Staff was really helpful for addressing any issues in a timely fashion and helping to set up activities. They also gave great recommendations for food and things to do. The hotel is walking distance to the beach. Our room overlooked a lot, not nice in itself, but the benefit was we had an unobstructed view of the sunsets!
